Overview of HOI Ch. 1
House of Incentives (HOI) Chapter 1 marks a major milestone in Mercle's mission to create the most decentralized, democratic identity network for the internet. This initiative aimed to test our infrastructure, add identity data liquidity, and engage our earliest users. Here are some milestones that we achieved in this campaign :-
Around 85,500+ unique users participated across 45 EVM ecosystems
531,000 Defi XP attestations issued, driving over $50M in transaction volume in various ecosystems
Over $230K was generated as mint fees to fund the treasury.
The first chapter of House of Incentives will come to an end on June 30th. We extended the end date by a month after talking with our community, as mentioned in our last blog. For more information on the complete House of Incentives, please refer to this blog.
Criteria for Network Incentives
HOI Chapter 1 participants will receive Hands of Support NFTs, divided into Silver, Gold, and Diamond tiers, based on their collected MBADGEs and the DE-FI XP. These NFTs will be claimable against network incentives later.
Requirements for locking your tiers:
Diamond: 40 MBADGEs and 1000 DE-FI XPs
Gold: 15 MBADGEs and 450 DE-FI XPs
Silver: 3 MBADGEs and 90 DE-FI XPs
Your current level and progress on MBADGEs and DeFi XP. Before the claim page goes live, you can keep collecting both of them to level up until June 30th, 2024.
Note: Chapter 1 excludes social and community XPs. Future incentive initiatives will include them.
Distribution and Transparency
We will distribute Hands of Support NFTs on July 1st at 9:00 p.m. EST. Users will be able to claim their NFTs from app.mercle.xyz only; please do not click on any other links. The last date to claim will tentatively be August 30, 2024.
To ensure transparency and fairness, we will share a list of the distributions a day before the claim. Since the NFTs store DE-FI XPs, anyone can independently verify the distribution.
What is our next step for Mercle?
HOI Chapter 1 has been a foundational milestone, paving the way for our upcoming Human Hubs initiative. This new initiative will create a distributed network of verifiers to onboard even more users. Stay tuned for the launch of this next network component, where Hands of Support NFT holders will receive exclusive access and benefits.
